Peninsula Oncology Centre was set up in response to the need for increased Oncology Services in the Mornington Peninsula region.

Situated within Frankston Private, Peninsula Oncology Centre is part of a "state-of-the-art", purpose built Centre, incorporating Day Surgery, Radiation Oncology, Medical Imaging, Pathology, Pharmacy, Consulting Suites, Conference Centre and Cafeteria.

Patients benefit from ease of access between departments with minimal delay.

Complex patient cases are presented at multidisciplinary team meetings, where, through collaboration with Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Radiologists, Surgeons, Pathologists, Nurses and Clinical Research staff, an optimal treatment plan is recommended for these patients.

Patients may also be suitable for recruitment into one of the numerous clinical trials available, which allows access to new novel treatments currently being investigated.
